Community Council

Members present: Ren Hoopes, Eldon Jensen, Val Rowley, Jeremy Floyd, Jody Hipwell, Terry Allen, Scott Roundy, Kelly Roundy.

Brenda Crossley and Ken Adams were excused.

Changes in laws concerning school community were discussed. Some highlights include posting of the minutes that were taken in the meeting on the school’s website.

Community council elections will be held June 5th at 6:30 p.m. at the high school.

The school web page is updated by Lynden Bennett.

The presentation by the A.G. office was discussed. On April 24th at 7:00 p.m. there will be a presentation “Empowering Your Family”. The entire community is invited. This will cover MySpace, pornography, predators, etc.

A letter from the governor’s office on meth use in the state of Utah. An all-day workshop will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Ogden at the Weber Human Services office.
