Morgan High School Community Council
Parent/Guardian Representation
Notice is hereby given of the forthcoming nomination
and election for Parent/Guardian representation on the Morgan High School
Community Council. Seats are open for three (3) council members who
shall each serve a two-year term. Term of office shall run from July
1, 2008 to June 30, 2010. The Morgan High School Parent/Teacher Organization
(PTO) president will automatically be placed on the nomination ballot.
Other interested parents/guardians must have a student attending Morgan
High School at some time during the term of office. School council meetings
will be held monthly unless otherwise determined by the majority vote
of the council. Meetings are generally held at 6:30 a.m. the first Thursday
of each month. Any parent or guardian who meets the qualifications may
become a candidate by notifying the high school between 8:00 a.m. and
3:00 p.m. or by contacting Chairman Michael Scott Roundy at 876-2332.
Application dates will run May 19 through 12:00 noon June 5, 2008. Voting
will take place June 5, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school media center
during an open Community Council meeting. Parents/Guardians of students
currently attending Morgan High School may vote during the election.
